Nancy Jo DeJarnette Reedy

Nancy Jo Reedy, age 86, a longtime resident of Agra, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Drumright, Oklahoma.

Nancy was born on April 3, 1939, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to William O. and Lillian Jessie (Arey) DeJarnette. She was their only child. Nancy attended school in Cushing and graduated from Cushing High School in 1956.

On July 25, 1957, Nancy was united in marriage to Louie Everett Reedy in Chandler, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Cushing before later relocating to Agra.

Nancy was a devoted wife and homemaker who lovingly raised her children and was actively involved with their 4-H and FFA programs. She was employed by Agra Public Schools for several years. Outside of her work, Nancy had a deep interest in genealogy. She found great meaning in genealogy and the preservation of family history. She also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in maintaining a large vegetable garden.

Nancy was a member of the Cushing chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of Agra Church of the Firstborn.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian DeJarnette; and her husband of 63 years, Louie Reedy.

She is survived by children, Lisa Hubbard and husband, Chris, Shawn Reedy, and Scott Reedy and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Aaron Hubbard and wife, Robbie, Ryan Hubbard, Lauren Hearn and husband, Austin, Matthew Reedy, Kaitlyn Reedy, and Zachary Reedy and wife, Sabrina; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Brenna, and Brynlee Hubbard, Rayne, Alice, Makenna, Shelby, and Aspyn Hearn, and Kash Roe; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
