Barbara Sue Casey Longan

Barbara was born on September 23, 1942 to Waldon Cooper and Imogene Casey. In 1963 she married Herbert Adkison. From that marriage two children were born, Terry Bruce Adkison and Sherri Sue “Susie” Adkison. On April 6th, 1979 she married Walter “Fuzz” Longan.

Barbara loved family first and spent lots of time with grandchildren and great grandchildren leaving behind lots of good memories. She enjoyed music, dancing, and basketball. She was an avid Thunder fan and would not miss a televised game. She was a Fraternal Order of Eagles member and Eagle Riders member. She enjoyed being a part of the Eagles family and was known as “Mom”

Her working years included positions at Bradshaw Insurance Agency in Stillwater, Kerr-McGee in Cushing, Bates Brothers in Stillwater and Stillwater National Bank in Stillwater.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her spouse, Walter “Fuzz” Longan and one brother, Randy Cooper.

She is survived by two sisters, Viola Shoup of Stillwater and Carolyn Schroeder of Edmond; two children, Terry Adkison and his wife Denise and Sherri Sue “Susie” Adkison; two grandchildren, Amber Meeks and her husband Brent and Trever Adkison; and five great grandchildren.
