Michael began his life in Ardmore, Oklahoma, later living in El Reno before his family settled in Yukon in 1973. He spent his school years in Yukon, where he attended Yukon Public Schools. After high school, he continued his education at Francis Tuttle Vocational School and Oklahoma City Community College, focusing his studies on electrical work.
With a strong sense of duty and service, Michael enlisted in the US Army , Oklahoma National Guard, where he proudly served for six years and earned the distinguished title of Expert Shooter.
