Beverly Ann Welborn-Ball, 69, a lifelong resident of Meeker, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, with her family by her side. Beverly was born August 28, 1956, in Prague to James "J.W." and Georgia Belle (Barnes) Welborn. She was reared and educated in Meeker graduating from Meeker High School in 1974. She attended Oklahoma State University where she excelled on the college water skiing team. She worked for her father's trucking company and later married Gregory Ball on August 30, 1989, in Hawaii. The couple made their home in Meeker. In 1996 she and her husband Greg started a successful trucking business "Flying B" Transportation. Where she continued to work until her time of death.
She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Meeker. Beverly never knew a stranger and was loved and adored by everyone who knew her, and more importantly, she felt the same way about everyone she knew. She was a tremendous cook, she loved spending time with family and friends, relaxing at their lake house on Eufaula Lake, attending the state fair, and caring for her dogs.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Georgia Welborn and Mother-in-law Karen Rutherford.
Survivors include her husband Greg of the home; sisters Pat (Welborn) Kaplan and Karen (Welborn) Mills and husband Chuck all of Shawnee; Many family members of the Ball side as well. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a host of others that called her "Aunt Bebee".
Friends may pay their respects Sunday 2pm-6pm at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague; and Monday from Noon to 7pm at the First Baptist Church in Meeker. The family will be at the church from 5pm to 7pm to greet friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday December 16, 2025, at the New Hope Cemetery of Meeker with Pastor Joe Jones will officiate.
