KATHY ELAINE WOMACK
1958 - 2016


Kathy Elaine Maxwell Womack was born July 1, 1958 in Ponca City to James Fred Maxwell and Frances Marie Belcher.
She passed away May 14, 2016 in her home in Luther at the age of 57.
For many years Kathy ran the Gator’s Country Store in Luther where she also sold fireworks during the 4th of July season.
She enjoyed working puzzles and playing Play Station and Nintendo. Her favorite pastime was watching hummingbirds outside her front door.
Most of all she loved having her grandchildren visit her at her home.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Jim Maxwell and her brother, Wilbur Maxwell.
Survivors include her grandmother, Helen Belcher of Ponca City; mother, Francis Waddell of Ponca City; significant other of 25 years, Mitchell Starkey of the home; children, Stacy Boyette of Wellston, James Womack and his wife Tara of Luther, Johnny Starkey of Luther and Wayland Starkey of Luther; two grandchildren, Rhiannon Boyette and Wilbur Womack; sister, Becky and her husband Don Gammill along with other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
