SYLVIA SUE WARREN
1920 - 2011


Sylvia Sue Montgomery Warren was born April 13, 1920 in Big Fir, Arkansas to Elder Rado Montgomery and Myrtle Liverman Montgomery and passed away peacefully Wednesday March 16, 2011 in Chandler, Oklahoma.
She grew up in Big Fir and Mt. Ida, Arkansas then moved to Allen, Oklahoma and married Robert Eugene Gilmore.
From this union, Roberta Jean Gilmore was born.
Sylvia later married Norman Warren in Mena, Arkansas 17 years ago.
She loved Arkansas, and enjoyed watching her two great-great grandsons, Cooper and Case, play. She loved flowers and always had the biggest Elephant Ears. She loved to paint and draw even taking Art Classes at the Jr. College in Mena, Arkansas as a senior citizen.
She loved her church in Mena and all of her friends there as well.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman Warren; three sisters, Lee Kimp, Irene Skidmore and Blanche Lawson; two brothers, Denny Montgomery and Elder {Monty} Montgomery; and son-in-law Thomas James.
She is survived by her sister, Arvina Roberts and husband Vince of Bartlesville; sister-in-law, Margie Montgomery of Linchburg, Virginia; brother-in-law H.O. {Sketter} Skidmore of Oklahoma City; daughter, Roberta James of Wellston; grandchildren Karetha Davis and husband Jimmy of Wellston; Mack James and wife Jennifer of El Reno; Jessie James of Oklahoma City; great grandchildren Becky Priddy and husband Shane of Wellston; Julie Tipton and husband Chris of Norman; Kasey Pruitt and husband Marion of El Reno; Bobby Davis of Wellston; Taylor James of El Reno; great-great grandchildren Cooper and Case Priddy, Bailey Taylor, Cohlton Fertig, Daylin and Lathen Pruitt and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
There will be a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel.
There will also be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Pine Crest Gardens Cemetery in Mena, Arkansas.
