EDITH LEONA TRAMMEL
1913 - 1998
Edith Leona Christy Trammel, 84, Ardmore, died Friday, April 17, in an Ardmore nursing home.
She was born July 31, 1913, in Meeker to Clifford and Fannie Pierson Christy.
She married Fred Trammel on September 22, 1929.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Shawnee Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jean Trammel.
She is survived by her husband of Ardmore; daughters Carol Ann Crone, Gentry, Arkansas, and Peggy Sue Wood, Ardmore; brothers, Preston Christy, Marysville, California, and Bobby Christy, Yuba City, California; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services 10:00 a.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker with Stanley Buckmaster officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
