DWIGHT DONALD STRICKLIN
1958 - 2015


Dwight Donald Stricklin was born December 29, 1958 in Eustis, Florida to William David Stricklin and Donnia Lou Jenkins.
He passed away March 17, 2015 in Stroud at the age of 56.
Don was a blue collared Southern gentleman who was protective of his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed the outdoors.
He was a great cook who specialized in creating the perfect omelet.
Don was preceded in death by his father, William Stricklin; and son, Garrett Don Stricklin.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Laizure of the home; mother, Donnia Peio of Hawaii; children, Donald Stricklin II and his wife Tonya of Spartenburg, South Carolina; Donna Stricklin of Moore, South Carolina; Corey Stricklin and his wife April of Duncan; Holga Leverett-Huffman and her husband Blake of Edmond; Engrid Leverett of Ardmore; Corey’s mother, Christina Stricklin; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Wendell Stricklin of Oklahoma City; and Wanda DeLidle of Hawaii; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held honoring Don’s life Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Sparks America Campground.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
