KENNETH LeROY SMITH
1952 - 2013


Kenneth LeRoy Smith, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 30, 1952, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and departed this life on January 13, 2013, in Oklahoma City at the age of 60 years.
Kenneth was the son of Alfred and Bertha Lee Long Smith.
He married Lorene Watkins, on December 15, 1973, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Kenneth worked as a cook at the Steer Inn Restaurant in Chandler for many years, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Davenport, Oklahoma.
His parents and two sisters preceded Kenneth in death.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lorene of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Sheena Smith of Hobart, Oklahoma, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kenya and James Lewis of Chandler and Misty and James Shirley of Chandler, two brothers, Robert Smith of Chandler and Larry Smith of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, four sisters, Linda Shahan of Gainesville, Texas, Lissa Hauger of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Sheri Piper of Dill City, Oklahoma and Rebecca Arington of Altus, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with Rev. Leon Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
