JANET LAVERNA SEITSINGER
1977 - 2012

Janet Laverna Hanson Seitsinger was born April 30, 1933 in Havre, Montana to Hans and Onnie Offett Hanson.
She passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015.
She married Robert Miller along with his children and began their life together, ending up in Chandler, Oklahoma.
She spent many years rearing those children while running their dairy barn and taking care of what many call the “farm.” After his sudden death, Janet pursued a nursing career for ten years. During that time she met and married Walter “Buck” Seitsinger of Agra.
Janet devoted her life to taking care of him and enjoyed baking him his favorite rhubarb or raisin pie and countless lunches and dinner meals. Together they grew the best gardens, and she prepared and preserved all kinds of foods from its harvest.
Janet also enjoyed going to the casinos with several of her family members and often gloated about how much money she didn’t spend. In her spare time, which she claimed she had none, Janet enjoyed crocheting, watching The Young and the Restless, sewing, watching her barn cats play and the QVC channel.
As many of you know, Janet’s most favorite pastime was talking!! She loved to talk, talk and talk. Her many stories and words of wisdom will forever be imprinted in the minds that she touched. One always knew what she was thinking because refraining from speaking was impossible. Her words sometimes appeared abrasive, but her heart was as tender and compassionate as a childs. She will be missed by those who loved her.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; one son and three daughters.
She is survived by her husband, Walter “Buck” Seitsinger of Chandler; children, Rick and wife, Sherri Seitsinger; Donna Boaz; Dave Seitsinger; Lonnie Seitsinger; Denise and husband, Densiel Bottger; Beverly and husband, Dale Sloan; Jessie Mills; nieces, nephews, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a dear friend, Gloria Beeman.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
