BILLIE SCHOOLEY

Billie Darroll Schooley, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born February 20, 1934, in Voca, Texas, and departed this life January 8, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.

Bill was the son of William Thomas and Leola (Butler) Schooley. He married Vernie Stiles on August 30, 1953 in Hoyt, Oklahoma. Bill worked as a land surveyor for many years, and was the owner of Lincoln Land Surveyors in Chandler. He served as a Deacon in the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church.

His parents, two brothers, Willard Leon, and Gary Lee Schooley preceded Bill in death.

Survivors include, his wife Vernie of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darroll and Vicki Schooley of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Ed and Karen Schooley of Chandler; one daughter Elizabeth Ann Schooley of Perkins, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Henley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
