Ronald J. Sanders, a Stroud, Oklahoma resident, was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on December 7, 1956, and departed this life in Stroud, on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the age of 49 years.Ronald was the son of Vernon J. Sanders and Jeanette Thornton Hipskind.He married Alice Tyson in Shafter, California on July 7, 1991.Ronald worked in the construction field.His father and one grandson preceded Ronald in death.Survivors include his wife, Alice Sanders of the home; his mother, Jeanette Hipskind of Casa Grande, Arizona; six sons and daughters-in-laws, Joshua Sanders of California; Gary Benson of Stroud; Randy and Sydrian Benson Jr. of Bakersfield, California; Gilbert and Diana Benson of Taft, California; Travis and Shannon Benson of Bakersfield, California; Jonathon Roggenkamp of Stroud; two daughters and son-in-laws, Jana Sanders of California; Janet and Robby Barrett of Stroud; one sister, Janice Dickens of Casa Grande, Arizona; twenty grandchildren and other relatives and friends.Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services, Stroud.
