MARTIN REED ROBERTSON
1919 - 1998


Kendrick resident Martin Reed Robertson died Wednesday in Chandler. He was 79.
Mr. Robertson was born April 13, 1919, in Porum to Thomas A. and Pearl Davis Robertson.
He was a World War II veteran in the U. S. Navy.
He retired from the Department of Labor as a mine inspector and had been a resident of Kendrick since 1980.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Robertson, Inola; George Robertson, Wellington, Kansas; Ronald Robertson, Salisbury, North Carolina; Martin Robertson II, Kendrick; brothers, Tommy Robertson, Wichita, Kansas; Jim Robertson, Owasso; sisters, Gladys Loghry and Sue Fair, both of Wichita, Kansas; Melva Robertson, Bartlesville; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, Stroud, with the Rev. Darrell Robinson officiating.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Mount Washington Cemetery, Lenapah, Oklahoma.
