DEBRA JONES MURRAY OBITUARY

DEBRA JONES MURRAY
1954 - 2000


Debra Jones Murray was born August 15, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Frank Jones and Willie C. Jones. She was the second of eight children.
A baby sister preceded her in death.
Debra was a graduate of Stroud High school, class of 1972.
She received Christ as her Savior at an early age. Debra was a member of Followers of Christ Baptist Church; but moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma shortly before her death. She attended Higher Dimensions while residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Debra was an ordained minister of the gospel. She was a woman of wisdom and was an inspiration to those who knew her. Debra was a loving mother who taught her children in the ways of God. She was a teacher at heart.
Debra leaves to cherish her memory three children, Tamara Neal, Yontia Reynolds and Michael Murray of Tulsa, Oklahoma; father, Frank Jones of Spencer, Oklahoma; mother, Willie C. Jones, Stroud, Oklahoma; aunt, Johnnie Mae Newton of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Shirley Jones and Veronica Mixon, both of Stroud, Oklahoma; April Gaines of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Michael Seaberry of Stroud, Oklahoma; Willie Jones and Laurel Gaines of Oklahoma City; special friends, Matilda Woodley, Marsha Jordan and Blanche Washington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Debra's Last Sentiments

Debra would like to thank God and the people who showed their love and support during this time.

As she stated before she departed, "This has to be God."
