FRED L. McDANIEL
1927 - 2015

Fred L. McDaniel, 87, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 22, 2015.

Fred's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He enjoyed woodworking, photography, RVing with his wife, and taking the "road not yet traveled".
He is survived by three daughters, Donna Kay McMillan and husband Ron; Mala Clay and husband Jack; Diane Gibson and husband Gary; two sons, David McDaniel and wife Diane; Mark McDaniel and wife Gay; eleven grandchildren, Becky Henderson and husband John; Beth Hendricks and husband Maj. Nathan; Britt Clay and wife Lauren; Brooke Clay, Bryce Clay, Dillon McDaniel, Dana McDaniel, Kassie Harbour and husband Drew; Megan McDaniel, Courtney Gibson and Meredith Gibson; eight great grandchildren, Brianna, Nate, Kinley, James, and Micah Hendricks, Brightson and Raelynn Clay, and Kaden Harbour; one brother Floyd Morrow and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Betty Lou {Paris}, granddaughter Carrie McDaniel, and mother Winnie Mae.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 S. Penn. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Wellston Cemetery, Wellston, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, Oklahoma.
The family would like to pay tribute to the memory of Mr. Roy Dawson, the owner of the boy's ranch who was a father figure to Fred, and to express a heartfelt "thank you" to the staff at Village on the Park, as well as Brad, Sean, and Tracy at Heartland Hospice for the care provided to their father.
