Vina B. Pruitt McCaslin was born July 20, 1934 in Hennepin, Oklahoma to William Jasper and Lola Mae Cook Pruitt.She passed away Friday June 28, 2013 at the age of 78 in Wellston, Oklahoma.Vina was a great cook and loved cooking during the holidays. She was the happiest when she was able to cook for her entire family which she adored.Vina was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rita Mae Henry; and brother, Nolan Lee Pruitt.She is survived by her husband, Roy Oliver McCaslin of the home; children, Beverly Allmond and her husband Rick of Okmulgee; Cheryl Sills and her husband Jimmy of Oklahoma City; Freddy Stuard and his wife Roxie of Florence, Colorado; Ronda Talent and her husband Carroll of Tulsa; Roy Glenn McCaslin and his wife Hazel of Davenport; Darrin McCaslin of Antlers; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Carney Cemetery in Carney.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
