STANLEY RAY KERR
1949 - 2016


Stanley Ray Kerr was born on November 20, 1949, in Liberal, Kansas, and departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2016, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 66.
Stanley, the son of Ernest Junior and Margaret Rae Morelock Kerr, was a resident of Prague.
He married Mary Jane Ferrell in 1965, in Bellflower, California.
Stanley was baptized in the Christian faith.
He was very mechanically inclined. He loved working on cars, taking them apart and rebuilding them with great skill. He also loved watching old western movies and listening to classic rock.
Stanley worked for Uponor, in Shawnee, for 27 years, retiring in 2014 as a quality inspector and fittings technician. He was selected to train ONG employees on the proper installation of plastic natural gas fittings.
Stanley had a great love for his family.
His father and his brother, Floyd Joe Kerr, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Kerr of Prague; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Brian and Aimee Kerr of Lewistown, Illinois, daughters and sons-in-law, Shauna Rae and Mitch McNeil of Lewistown, Illinois and Maureen Elizabeth Courtney of Lewistown, Illinois; grandchildren, Kristen, Barbara, Danielle, Delaney, Jordan, Alexander, Anthony, Austin, Alexa, Alyssa, Kristyn, Sydnee, William, JT and Lakyn; great grandchildren, Amity, Dade, Kore, Dalton, Brently, Hayden, Keegan, Roze, Charlie and Jade; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike Kerr of Prague, Ronnie and Nancy Kerr of Prague, Dexter and Sandra Kerr of Lincoln, Arkanasas, Craig and Susan Kerr of Prague; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Phillip Powell of Eufaula and Rosalie Kerr and Jerry Tedder of Tulsa and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
