AMELIA PHYLLIS HOLLEYMAN
1930 - 2010


Amelia Phyllis Gay Holleyman was born January 1, 1930 in Walters, Oklahoma to A. M. and Dorothy Lee Barbe Gay.
She passed away peacefully in her home with her family at her side Saturday January 16, 2010 at the age of 80.
She grew up in Norman, Oklahoma graduating from Norman High School in 1948. After living in Del City until 1997 she moved to Wellston, Oklahoma.
Phyllis was fortunate enough in her life having the opportunity to care for her family as a homemaker.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Troy Lee Jackson and Henry Hudson Holleyman; brothers, Dick Gay and Bill Gay; and sister, Oneta Beach who passed away only 2 days before Phyllis.
She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Birdsong Strait; sons, Rick Jackson of Wellston, Oklahoma; Dale Jackson of Wellston, Oklahoma; Larry Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Toni and son-in-law Dr. John Rains of Alex, Oklahoma; step sons, Mike Holleyman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Bobby Holleyman of Missouri; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way; many nieces and nephews as well as lots of extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston, Oklahoma with interment following at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
