DONALD HOWARD HASKIN
1943 - 2015


Donald Howard Haskin, retired truck driver, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at his home at the age of 72 years.
The son of the late Delbert Haskin and Betty Rose Dunn Haskin, Donald was born on January 14, 1943 in Santa Monica, California, and was raised and educated in the Cushing community.
Donald enjoyed talking and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his generosity to others; his organizational skills for his home, shop and life, the pride that he took in landscaping and his ability as an auto mechanic. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, farming, caring for animals and was an avid model railroad enthusiast.
Survivors include his children, James Haskin and his wife Marsha of Pooler, Georgia; Christina Clemetson and her husband Jim of Olympia, Washington; Carrie Haskin of Mobile, Alabama; and Don Haskin of Billings, Montana; his step-mother Phyllis Haskin of Cushing; two brothers, Kirby Haskin and Dwight Haskin of Cushing; one sister Jackie Brockamp and her husband Joe of Cushing; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the Avery Cemetery with Sonny Johnston officiating.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Floyd Family Center.
