SAMUEL WAYNE GUINN
1931 - 2016


Samuel Wayne Guinn, 85, of Meeker, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016, in Oklahoma City.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, at Meeker First Christian Church with Jim Whorton officiating. Walker Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
Samuel Wayne Guinn was born July 15, 1931, in Meeker to Samuel Berlin Guinn and Minnie Faye Fowler Guinn.
He married Judy Wilson in 1952.
He worked as a farmer, operating a dairy farm in the Shawnee/Meeker area. He loved to garden, tinker with trucks and tractors, sit in the shade and enjoy the outdoors and drink coffee every morning with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant granddaughter, a granddaughter-in-law, April Guinn and two brothers, Berlin and C.P. Guinn.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Guinn of the home, five children, Janie Gallaway and husband David of Davis, Cindy Martin and husband Jerry of Shawnee, Steve Guinn and wife Debbie of Meeker, Mark Guinn and wife Rhonda of Meeker and Greg Guinn of Shawnee, grandchildren: Amanda Henley and husband Lee of Davis, Laura Goodin and husband Philip of Davis, Brad Guinn of Meeker, Cody Guinn of Meeker, Danielle Carver and husband Ty of Paden, Dillon Guinn and Christa Butts of Shawnee and Luke Guinn of Shawnee, great-grandchildren, Jesse and Emerson Henley of Davis, Isabella and Sawyer Goodin of Davis, Kiyah Faith Guinn of Shawnee, Ryder Carver of Paden, Cayson Guinn of Meeker and one-on-the-way, Sloan Carver, brother, Roy Lee Guinn and wife Elsie of Meeker, sisters, Lillian Lawson of Meeker, JoAnn Dungan and husband Ken of Midwest City and Alba Mae Ward {who died hours after Wayne} and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
