BONNIE LEE FORD
1931 - 2012


Bonnie Lee Phelps Ford passed away December 21, 2012. She was born October 27, 1931 in Wellston, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Cecil Ford; sons Terry, Gerald and Kevin; their spouses and numerous family members and friends.
Bonnie and Cecil lived the majority of their lives in Wellston, Oklahoma and were members of the First Christian Church of Wellston.
They owned and operated Ford's Service Station and Country Store in downtown Wellston for many years.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at the Baptist Medical Center Hospital in Oklahoma City from 1966-1984.
Bonnie gave selflessly to her community and was always there to help others.
She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Her family was the center of her life and she will be greatly missed.
She was the third child of Bonnie and Linnie Phelps who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her sisters, Ruth Evans and Marcel Goggin.
Visitation for Bonnie will be Wednesday at the funeral home and Thursday at the church before the funeral.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 27, 2012 at the Wellston Christian Church with interment following at the Wellston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
