SHIRLEY JEAN DERVIN
1941 - 2016


Shirley Jean Jackson Dervin was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on January 15, 1941 and departed this life in Yukon, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 4, 2016 at the age of 75 years.
Shirley was the daughter of Frank and Mattie Alice Lewis Jackson.
She was a resident of Stroud most of her life.
She worked as secretary for Jim Dervin Electric Contractor for many years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud.
Shirley married Jim Dervin in Stroud on August 25, 1978.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gary Coon, one daughter, Cindy and two sisters,
Survivors include her husband, Jim of the home, four sons, Danny Coon of Colgate, Todd Coon of Perkins, Bryan Dervin of Stroud and Chris Messer of Stroud, two daughters, Julie Whitmore of Oklahoma City and Deana Williams of Stroud, thirty nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Ragle officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Stroud.
