VINA LEE DENKER
1926 - 2015


Vina Lee Sullivan Denker was born on June 12, 1926, in Augusta, Arkansas, and departed this life on Friday, March 20, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.
Vina, the daughter of Thomas Kenneth and Mildred Elza Norvell Sullivan, was a resident of Prague.
She married S.E. “Red” Denker on May 7, 1950, in Bald Knob, Arkansas. They remained married until his death in 1998.
Vina worked as a Registered Nurse for over 65 years.
Vina’s parents, husband, brother, Billy Sullivan, sisters, Anna Marilyn Morton and Wanda Louise Fletcher, and grandson, Bob Denker, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Becky Denker of Princeton, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lea Ann and Douglas Wilson of Prague; grandchildren, Edward and Christy Kiefert, Tom and Bhawna Brennan, Michael and Kristin Ludi, Jared Ludi, Destiny Wilson, Seth Bailey and “adopted” granddaughter – Stephenie Burleson; great grandchildren, Hunter, Savannah and Faith Kiefert, Gabriel and Alyssa Ludi and Kaleb and Cameron Burleson; numerous other family and friends.
The Denker family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Allen, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
