ALYCE DANAGHER
1960 - 2007


Alyce Spoon Danagher, a former Cushing resident and graduate of Cushing High School, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 46 years.
The daughter of the late Junior Ray Spoon and Lydia Jean Morris Spoon, Alyce was born on October 21, 1960 in French Camp, Florida, coming to Oklahoma as a small child, attending Cushing schools.
Alyce had worked for Rheinschmidt Tile and Marble Company out of Burlington, Iowa for several years. She really enjoyed laying brick, tile and different types of flooring and was known for being very good and a perfectionist at her job.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Tom Danagher of the home; her daughters, Diana Pernell and her late husband Christopher of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and their two children Gage and Skye; Carrie Jackson and her husband Shane of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and their two children Brittany and Madison; her brothers and sisters, Karen Klinger and husband Wert of Idaho; William Ray Spoon and wife Stella of Orvail, California; Barbara Rivera and husband Migual of Lacey, Washington; France White and husband Daniel of Pueblo, Colorado; John Spoon and wife Kathy of Tryon, Oklahoma; Ruth Baker and husband Danny of Cushing, Oklahoma; Lydia Lair and husband Ron of Cushing, Oklahoma; and Timothy Spoon of Pueblo, Colorado; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Beth Spoon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Dr. Lonny Lee, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Avery Cemetery, south of Cushing.
