NORALEE ALICE CASH
1931 - 2010


Noralee Alice Hinkle Cash, a former Perkins resident now of Stillwater, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Westhaven Nursing Home, Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.
The daughter of the late Perry Hinkle and Virgie Koonce Hinkle, Noralee was born on August 21, 1931 in Carney, Oklahoma. She was reared and educated in Chandler, Oklahoma where she graduated with the class of 1950.
She was united in marriage to Richard Cash, Jr. on September 8, 1950 in Cushing, Oklahoma and to this union three sons, Ron, Terry, and Tim were born.
Noralee worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell 18 years before retiring from Oklahoma State University for 15 years as a Lab Tech.
She had attended the First United Methodist Church in Ripley.
Many will remember Noralee as a devoted Christian who trusted the Lord with every step in her life. Because of her faith in God she was able to express her love to her family in a very special way. She was musically talented, playing both the organ and accordion, had a beautiful alto voice and was blessed to be a great country cook.
In addition to her parents, Noralee was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Brown.
Survivors include her husband Richard “Jr.” Cash; three sons, Ron Cash and his wife Terry of Grove, Oklahoma, Terry Cash and his wife Cathy of Pauls Valley, and Tim Cash of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one brother, Bill Hinkle and his wife Alma of Chandler; one sister, Phyllis Brasel and her husband Ron of Chandler; six grandchildren, Jared Cash, Matthew Cash, Krista Wheeler, Jordan Cash, Rachel Watson, and Libby Cash; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Cash and Rylie Cash; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater, Oklahoma and will be held in the Chapel of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater {5106 N. Washington} at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2011.
Burial will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Oklahoma at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2011.
The Cash family would like to thank the Advantage Home Health Program, the Westhaven Nursing Home and their loving and caring staff, and SolAmor Hospice.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
