NANCY JEAN CASHION-SARSYCKI
1941 - 2012


Nancy Jean Overstreet Cashion Sarsycki was born July 1, 1941 to Virgil and Maggie Fulks Overstreet in Wellston, Oklahoma.
She passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 in her home in Wellston.
Nancy married Jack Cashion October 12, 1956 and lived in Oklahoma City and Spencer. They raised four children together until he passed away in 1972.
Nancy married Bob Sarsycki September 30, 1978 and they lived in Spencer, Oklahoma City, McLoud, and finally Wellston.
She spent her life trying to make sure everyone else was cared for. She loved her family endlessly.
She enjoyed collecting Bells of all kinds, but after collecting over 243 she ran out of places to put all of them.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Jack; four sisters; two brothers; one grandson, and after 33 years together her husband Bob followed her in death the following day.
She is survived by two sisters, Martha Greenfield of Arcadia; and Norma Rietz of Edmond; four children, Randy Cashion and wife Jessie of Oklahoma City; Leona Johnson and husband Ron of McLoud; Barbara Cashion of the home; David Cashion and wife Trish of Jones; twelve grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends that were all a part of her family.
Funeral services for Nancy are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Wellston Missionary Baptist Church.
She will be laid to rest next to her first love, Jack Cashion, in the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.
Bob's wishes were to be cremated and placed near his brother, Joe Don.
Services under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
