ANDREW EDWARD BURLINGAME
1944 - 2015


Andrew Edward “Ed” Burlingame was born on January 26, 1944, in Sedalia, Missouri, and departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 71.
Ed, the son of Andrew Leroy Burlingame and Edna Schell, was a resident of Texas.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He married Betty Crone on August 24, 1979, in Texas.
His father preceded Ed in death.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Betty Burlingame; mother, Edna Burlingame of Sedalia, Missouri; sons and daughter-in-law, Drew and Val Burlingame of Seattle, Washington; and James Burlingame of Joplin, Missouri; adoptive son, Ronnie Leighton of Joplin, Missouri; daughters and sons-in-law, Lavonne Mattingly of Blue Springs, Missouri; Misty and Mike Thomas of Galena, Kansas and Carla and Charles Moore of Kyle, Texas; eight grandchildren, Aaron Mattingly, Jacob Mattingly, Blake Burlingame, Avery Burlingame, Kenzie Burlingame, Lexi Burlingame, Emmi Burlingame and Makayla Burlingame; two great grandchildren, Alice and Ruby Mattingly; god-daughter, Fallon Eddi Winteroth; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Sue Burlingame of Sedalia, Missouri; sister, Martha Dean Hickey of Dorchester, Massachusetts; as well as other numerous family and friends.
Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Prague.
