EMIL EARNEST BRAUER II
1930 - 2015


Emil Earnest Brauer, II was born on October 13, 1930, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.
Emil, the son of Henry Herman and Sallie Sarah Jones Brauer, was a resident of Prague.
He married Georgean Edwards on September 10, 1959, in Okemah and they remained married until her death in May 7, 1970.
He worked for the City of Stroud for over 26 years.
Emil enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and driving down country roads.
Emil’s parents, son, Emil Ernest Brauer, III, daughter, Kathy Icenogle, grandson, Dustin Coleman, granddaughter, Carmelica Holley, brother, Henry “Junior” Brauer, and sister, Marie Carter, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Becky Brauer of Eufaula and David Brauer of Prague, daughters and sons-in-law, LaDonna and Butch Martin of Prague and Kim and Jimmy Doolittle of Eufaula, son-in-law, Randy Icenogle of Stroud, twenty five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, sister, Lena Pruett of Prague as well as other numerous family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud with Rev Mike Haines officiating.
Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
