ISAAC ELLIS ARNOLD
2003 -- 2011

Isaac Ellis Arnold, the son of Mike and Saundra Hendon Arnold, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 7 years old.
Isaac was born on July 14, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Cushing with his parents in 2004. He attended Small Miracles Day Care in Cushing for two years before attending Pre-K through 2nd grade in Stroud where his mom teaches Choir.
Isaac never met a stranger. He loved people but none more than his best friend and brother, Ian - age 5 and his big brother and hero, Alex - age 17. You could find them playing with their trains, robots, or playing Super Mario on the Wii. Isaac loved to swim, do gymnastics, learn about space and he even liked playing the piano. If he wasn’t doing any of those things, then you could find him playing with his dog Cleo "Buster".
Survivors include his parents Mike {who teaches band at Yale} and Saundra Arnold of the home in Cushing; Godfather, Pat Purdy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four brothers, Ian Arnold of the home in Cushing; Alex Purdy of Oklahoma City; Benjamin Arnold and his wife Vicky of Texas City, Texas; and Andrew Arnold of Mannford; maternal grandparents, Glenna Minter and her husband Sonny of Idabel, Oklahoma; and Odell Hendon of Eagletown, Oklahoma; one niece, Andrea; and three nephews, Austin, Aaron, and Skylar; and many friends, classmates, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Ruth Arnold and his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Doan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Due to weather and travel concerns, Isaac's services have been postponed until Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Westlake Presbyterian Church in Bethany, Oklahoma with Pastor Ron Phelps officiating.
The Arnold family will be greeting friends at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011.
