March 13, 1952 ~ January 21, 2023

Joe Richard Holik was born on March 13, 1952 and departed this life unexpectedly on January 21, 2023.

Joe was one of five kids born to Emil and Mae (Davis) Holik in Amarillo, Texas. At a very young age, Joe and his family moved to Lincoln County and made their home here. He graduated from Prague High School in 1971. After high school, he worked for over 30 years at Macklanburg-Duncan and then worked for Highland Dairy for 14 years until he retired. Joe enjoyed keeping up with his grandkids whether they were fishing, swimming or playing games; he did whatever they wanted. Joe had the biggest kindest heart. He never met a stranger. His caring loving spirit will be missed.

Joe is preceded in death by his son David Holik; his parents Emil and Mae Holik; his sister Mary Flatt and his brother Eugene Holik.

Joe leaves behind his daughter Samantha Holik, two grandchildren Dalante White and Kailynn Holik; brother Howard Holik and wife Shirley and sister Anna Mae Peters; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Deer Creek Baptist Church, Stroud OK. Interment will be at Kendrick Cemetery. A guest book is available to share your memories on-line. Please visit www.ParksBrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
