October 23, 1952 ~March 15, 2023

Twilla June Forrest passed away on March 15, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Twilla was born on October 23, 1952, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Earl E. and Mabel L. (Laughery) Wright. Twilla graduated high school in Uniontown and then began to work. Not long after she met Leslie Forrest, it was a whirlwind love and they got married within two weeks of meeting. She and Leslie traveled into many different states for his work. They came and settled in Oklahoma around 1988. Twilla loved to take care of her family and so that is what she did. She loved to be outside, garden and fish. She was also an avid Steelers fan as well as a WWE fan. She enjoyed cooking and heading to the casino with her daughters. She was an absolute sweet and loving woman. To say that Twilla was a special lady is an understatement, she will be greatly missed.

Twilla is preceded in death her parents Earl and Mable Wright; husband Leslie Forrest; and grandson Austin Forrest.

Twilla is survived by her daughters Tracy Wright, Patricia Forrest and Tina Mathis and her husband Kevin; grandchildren Danielle Harrison, Ashley Machacek, Jack Cullum Jr, Nicholas McClendon Jr, Freya Hill, Brayden Davis and Olivia Mathis; great grandchildren Leah, Ella and Zaya; brother Earl Wright; sister Donna McCrea; as well as many extended family and friends.

Service to honor Twilla will be Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 am at Kendrick Cemetery. There will also be a visitation for her at Parks Brothers Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
