Pearl Leota Lynch Young

Pearl Leota (Lynch) Young passed away on Saturday, December 24th, 2022, at the age of 100 years. She was a resident of Stroud Oklahoma.

Mrs. Young was born November 5, 1922, in rural Lincoln County, Oklahoma, to parents Joseph Daniel and Zelphia Elizabeth (Haymaker) Lynch. She was the 6th of 12 children. She married Edgar Elvis Young on May 4, 1940, at Chandler, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2011.

She lived most of her life in Oklahoma, being a resident at times of Prague, Seminole, Shawnee and Stroud, and in her earlier years short stays in California and Wyoming. She was a homemaker.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and his parents, Walter and Hattie (Wilson) Young; one daughter, Frances Irene Nutter; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; 3 sisters-in-law; 4 brothers-in-law; a son-in-law; and nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Young of Stroud, grandson Jason Teague Nutter of Shawnee; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hall and Edna Collins, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, along with a host of other family and friends.

No immediate services, burial will be at a later date at the Arlington-Kellerby Cemetery, west of Arlington Oklahoma Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.parksbrothers.net. Care Services are provided by of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
