Joyce Sue (Green) Gautier

November 13, 1959 ~ September 5, 2022

Joyce Sue (Green) Gautier passed away on September 5th, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Joyce was born on November 13th, 1959, to Richard Green and Sue (Gentry) Green.

She grew up in Meeker and graduated in 1978. She met and fell in love with Michael Gautier when her Aunt Janie pointed him out as he was coaching a T-ball game. They were married on September 10th, 1984. Joyce and Mike had one son, Chace Gautier, of Meeker.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Sue Green. She is survived by her husband Michael Gautier, son Chace Gautier, her sister Sherry Green, and her brother Gary Green all of Meeker, as well as a multitude of family and friends who loved her dearly.

Joyce was an avid gardener and crafter. Everything she touched became more beautiful. She had a green thumb and grew the most beautiful flowers and plants. She loved animals, especially her dog Kawliga. She loved all "kids" and they all loved her as well as she would try to spoil them all. She was an incredibly generous person and was always doing special things for the people she loved. Even when she was sick, she loved to host dinners and cookouts for her family and friends. She enjoyed just sitting, telling stories and visiting with everyone. Her time with us was far too short but the impact she made on those she loved will never be forgotten.
