Ada Belle Wilson was born February 17, 1941 in Avant, Oklahoma to Jim and Nancy Coon. She passed away March 4, 2025 in Stillwater at the age of 84.
The family relocated to Carney where she attended high school and met and married Leon Wilson. She worked for the US postal service and retired after 25 years. Ada and Leon remained married until Leon's passing in 2007.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Nancy; husband, Leon Wilson; son, Todd Wilson; grandsons, Adam and Kyle; great granddaughter, Natalie Belle; siblings Pete, Bob, Mary, Ellen, Virgil, Florence, David and Tom.
Survivors include her children; Joe, Richard and wife Dawn, Jenny and husband Joe, and daughter in law Nita; grandchildren Brett and wife Jenna, Brandy, Cody, Tyler and wife Kimberly, Eric and wife Baylea, Jake, Mickey, Briar, Josh, Tanner, Taylor, John, and Bailey, Ashley, Amber, Tommy, Tori, Robin; great-grandchildren; Cash, Peyton, Adam, Tripp, Callie, Kolbie Belle, Keegan, Dakota, and Tucker. Ethan, Bailey, Bo, Lane, Bobby, Maddox, Mason, Kenley, Kennedy, Isaac, Lyric, Jax, and Jake; and sister, Edna and husband Dennis.
Ada loved her family unconditionally. Her home was the gathering place for our entire family, plus some. She could cook like no other and thankfully enjoyed passing that skill on.
The only thing that brought her more joy than her grandchildren, was her great grandchildren. We will miss her dearly but find comfort in knowing that her and grandpa are together again. As well as many others. It's no coincidence that she passed on Adam's birthday, what a wonderful celebration that must've been in Heaven.
We love you Grandma, Thank you for everything.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 7, 2025 at Carney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
