Mr. L.D. Arnold, 78, of Talihina. , passed away, Thursday, July 26th, 2012 at The Oaks Healthcare Center, Poteau, Oklahoma. 

Mr. Arnold was born in Whitesboro, Oklahoma on January 7, 1934, the son of the late Atlas and Nellie (Willis) Arnold. He lived most of his life in the Whitesboro and Talihina area. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother ,Leonard Arnold.

He is survived by two brothers, Albert Lee and Lonnie Arnold of the home, several cousins and lots of friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Stacy Ingles, Richard Ingles, Terry Ingles, Willard Arnold, Vernon Ramsey, and DeTroy Johnson.

Religious Service at Whitesboro Baptist Church, Whitesboro, Oklahoma. at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 30th, with David Gibson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Whitesboro Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
