Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mattie Cheely at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 13, 1977, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau,Oklahoma. Reverend Danny Oliver officiated.
Mrs. Cheely was born August 30, 1895, and passed away March 11, 1977. Survivors include two daughters, one son, one sister, eleven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, Oklahoma, under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
