Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Shady Point, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, April 11, 1983, for Gertie M. Embrey Williams. Reverend James Hill and Reverend Allen Kersh officiated.
Mrs. Williams was born December 15, 1902, and passed away on April 7, 1983. Surviving are six daughters, twenty-eight grandchildren, and forty-seven great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Shady Point Cemetery, with Evans Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma, in charge.
