Nancy Caldonia (Brock) Bowers b. 24 Apr 1876 in Allison, Jackson County,
Alabama. The daughter of Isaac Washington Brock and Cynthia Jane
(Collins) Brock.
Wife of James William Bowers, married 29 Mar 1891 in Logan County,
Arkansas. James and Nancy were residents of Bokoshe, LeFlore County,
Oklahoma in the early 1900's. their children were William D. Bowers b.
1893 in Logan County, Arkansas, Erwell C. Bowers b. 7 Mar 1898 in
Bokoshe, James Ernest Bowers b. 31 Jan 1900 in Shady Point, Leflore
County, OK, Minnie Elizabeth Bowers b. 19 Feb 1902 in Arkansas, Molly
Leona Bowers b. 2 Feb 1904 in Arkansas, Emery Clay Bowers b. 1 Nov 1905
in Arkansas, Lillie M.B. Bowers b. abt. 1909 in Leflore County, Verna L.
Bowers b. 23 Dec 1913 in Leflore County, Oda Ellen Bowers b. 20 Oct 1915
in Arkansas. James William Bowers was the son of William Bowers and
Mary Elizabeth (Allen) Bowers of Magazine, Logan County, Arkansas. Mr.
Bowers passed away during an illness while he was staying with his
daughters in Branch, Logan County, Arkansas. Mr. Bowers is buried in
the Bowers Family Plot at Barnhill Cemetery near Magazine in Logan
County. Mr. Bowers was farming in Arkansas and Oklahoma his entire
life.
