Norma Jean King, 81, passed away Saturday, April 15th, 2017 in Fort
Smith, Arkansas. Norma was born on July 23, 1935, in Whitesboro,
Oklahoma, to Lee and Ruby Norbury. She graduated from Whitesboro
High School in May, 1952.
Norma married Euils L. (Curly) King on June 13, 1952.
Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Talihina,
Oklahoma. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Norma was selected as the 2007 Woman of the Year by the Talihina
Business and Professional Women's chapter in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Norma's life was dedicated, first to her Lord. She was also
dedicated to her husband, children, grandchildren, and nieces &
nephews.
She is survived by her Husband Eulis. L. King, Talihina, Ok, two
sons, Gary King of Denton, Texas and Randy King of Talihina,
Oklahoma, one brother, James Norbury, Farmersville, TX.
She was preceded in death by one sister Virginia Baker of Mena, 4
Brothers Kenneth Norbury, Selbert Norbury of Talihina, Oklahoma,
Charles Norbury of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and Jerry Norbury of Moore,
Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Norma will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the First
baptist Church with the Bro. Marc Cook officiating, with interment
at Old Talihina Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral
Service of Talihina.
