Robert Lenard "Runt" Bond

Robert Lenard Bond (Runt), was born May 13th, 1920 to Robert and Mary Lou Bond. He passed from this life January 23rd, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Robert owned and ran the Talihina Pool Hall for several years and retired at the age of 87. He loved to read Westerns and watch them on TV. He was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church in Talihina, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Wilma Bond, his parents; Robert and Mary Lou Bond, and many family members.

Runt is survived by his wife Betty Hilbern of the home and her children and grandchildren, one daughter; Janice Bond of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, two granddaughters; Runtetta and Victoria, both of Talihina, Oklahoma, one grandson; John Michael of Vinita, Oklahoma, two great grandchildren, a brother Pat Bond of Whitesboro, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, January 26, 2017, 2:00 PM at Old Talihina Cemetery with Reverend Carrol Fitzgerald officiating.
