Lola Lavada Franks, age 53, passed from this life March 13th, 2017 at her home in Octavia, Oklahoma. She was born November 17th, 1963 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Samuel and Leta Williams.

Lola loved people, she had a huge heart, she also enjoyed being outdoors, and taking care of her rose bushes. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel and Leta Williams, her parents in law; Horace and Louise Franks, and a brother; Glenn R. Williams.

Lola is survived by her husband; Dwaine Franks of the home, one son; Joshua VanValkenburg of McAlester, Oklahoma, one daughter; Ola L. Franks of Octavia, Oklahoma, one stepson; Dwaine Franks Jr. of Octavia, Oklahoma, two stepdaughters; Stacy Franks of Bernie, California and Amanda Franks of Boise, Idaho. Six grandchildren, Brothers; Samuel and Loraine Williams, Tim and Helen Williams, David and Connie Williams, Russell and Donna Williams, Bill Williams, Sisters; Sherry and David Brian and Ruby and Bob Ludlow.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 17th, 2017, 12:00 PM at Ludlow Cemetery, with Pastor Ed Rogers officiating, A dinner will follow at Octavia Baptist Church.
