Carla Young, 57, of Poteau died Thursday, June 13, 2002, in Poteau.
She was born Nov. 19, 1944, in Poteau. She was a LPN and was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Classy Lady Lions and a volunteer for the Literacy Council.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro. She is survived by her husband, Larry; three daughters, Darla Ford and Leslie Gonzales, both of Poteau, and Jennifer Uro of Delaware; two sons, Carl Ross and Joshua Young, both of Poteau; a sister, Gail Gilpin of Poteau; her mother, Polly Ward of Poteau; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Amend, Preston Duncan, David Butler, Tommy Wilson and Joel Talley
