Robert Isaac Barnes of Spiro was born October 10, 1918, in Buck Creek, Oklahoma to John R. and Virgle Zozella (Brown) Barnes and passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010, in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 91.

He is survived by; His Wife Ella Lorene Barnes of the home Two Daughters Carol Brigance and husband James of Poteau, Oklahoma Caren Bradberry and husband Dan of Talihina, Oklahoma Two Sons Marion McKinzie and wife Brenda of Fort Smith, Arkansas Robert Don Barnes of Spiro, Oklahoma Seven Grandchildren Tammy England, Jamie Griffith, Steve Bradberry, Joe Bradberry, Daniel McKinzie,Jennifer Williams and Sarah Wilson Twelve Great Grandchildren

He was a retired farmer and worked at Spiro Glass Plant making novelty glass for many years. He was a member of the American Legion, of the Assembly of God faith, a Army Veteran of World War II, an avid outdoorsman (with a special passion for hunting and fishing). He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was very patriotic person who served his country with pride.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Art, Carl and Olen Barnes and two sisters, Margie Wiles and Betty Russell.

Ella Lorene Barnes of Spiro, Oklahoma was born September 21, 1931 in the Race Track Community, Oklahoma to Roy and Edith (Greenwood) Sebo, and passed away August 6, 2020 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
 

Lorene is survived by two daughters; Carol Lue Brigance, and husband James of Poteau, Oklahoma, Caren Sue Bradberry and Dan of Talihina, Oklahoma, two sons; Marion Eugene McKinzie and wife Brenda of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Robert Don Barnes of Spiro, Oklahoma, sisters; Mary Ann Harris of Spiro, Oklahoma, Helen Boydston of Spiro, Oklahoma, brother; Jerry Sebo of Spiro, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren; Sara and Brian Wilson, Steve and Leigh Anne Bradberry, Joe and Heather Bradberry, Daniel and Elizabeth McKinzie, Jennifer and Jason Williams, Tammy and Tim Crase, Jamie Griffith, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, Connie Taylor, numerous other relatives and loved ones.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Barnes, parents; Roy and Edith Sebo, sister; Aline Crowder, brothers; Roy Eugene Sebo, Charles Sebo, Billy Sebo, and Glenn Sebo


She was a member of Woodlawn Assembly of God Church.


The family will hold Private Graveside Services. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
 

The family would love to give a huge thank you to the Spiro Nursing Home and all the amazing workers that have been there for our Mom.
