David Lee James
David Lee James, 41, of Poteau, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2002. He was born Aug. 3, 1960.

Survivors include one daughter, Leahella James of Poteau; his mother, Sally James of Poteau; two
sisters, Mary Ann Abney of Fort Smith and Lavina Corrine Adkins of Poteau; five brothers, Gibson
Junior James of Helena, Jesse James, Frankie Dalls James, Warren Dean James, all of Poteau and Teddy
Joe James of Okmulgee; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Pete Butler officiating. Burial will follow in James Cemetery at Calhoun under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
