SHREVEPORT, La. — Jean Laverne Roop, 73, of Shreveport, La., formerly of Heavener, died Aug. 15, 2004.

She was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Zoe, Okla. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Loving Baptist Church with burial at Memorial Park in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.


She is survived  by her husband, James; a daughter, Donna Perkins; two sons, David and Danny Roop; and a brother, Glen Lynch.
