Barbara Louise Nichols, 67, of Heavener died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in Heavener. Barbara was born March 29, 1945, in Wister to John and Pearl HouseShe was a homemaker.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Meek and Elizabeth Self; sister, Faye Stump; brothers, J.T. House, Nobe House, L.D. House; son-in-law, Doug Spears.
Barbara loved life, family shopping and holiday get-togethers. She was very stylish. She was a great cook and many restaurants called her often wanting her to work for them.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Nichols of the home; daughters, Donna Spears of Heavener, Marla Warren of Leflore, Cindy Farmer of McCurtain; sons, Cliff Davis of Mannford, Mike Davis of Waldron, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Gaynale Muse of Delton, Colo.; other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating. Burial will be in Heavener Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, Cliff Davis, Gavin Meek, Christian Davis, Michael Davis, Colton Kardokus and Odell Nichols.
The family will visit with relatives and friends at Evans and Miller Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Friday. You may leave an online message at evansandmillerfuneralhomes.com.
