Frankie Lee Derryberry of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 70.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Red Oak, with services conducted by Pastor Johnny Montgomery.

The burial at Red Oak Cemetery will take place after the service under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Rocky Mountain Network of VA Hospitals.

Frankie was born on April 26, 1952 in Treece, Kansas to Thomas Derryberry and Frances Cole Derryberry.


He is survived by his Colorado-based daughters: Suzanne Delap and husband, Anthony Delap, and Carrol Lee; by his granddaughter: Rebekah Monroe and husband, Kyle; by his grandsons: Elliott Delap, and Montgomery Delap; and his siblings: Kaye Derryberry, and Steven Derryberry.

Frankie was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He lived life on his own terms and was able to see the beauty in simple things. He served in the U.S. Army, and spent many years as an entrepreneur in Lawton, Oklahoma, before working as a warehouse technician for ConAgra Foods in Denver.

Frankie is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Frances Derryberry; and by his siblings: Faye Derryberry, Tommy Harold Derryberry, and Beverly Derryberry.
