Thurman Lewis Kenieutubbe of McAlester, Ok died Friday, January 20, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 37.

Thurman was born September 15, 1979 to Osborne “Bones” and Martha (Hampton) Kenieutubbe in Talihina, Oklahoma. Thurman attended school in McAlester and worked as various jobs. He was a true Texas Longhorn Fan and L.A. Lakers Fan. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and was a loving uncle to his niece and nephews.

Thurman is survived by his siblings, Teresa Kenieutubbe, Travis Kenieutubbe, Taylor Kennieutubbe and Truman Kenieutubbe all of McAlester; niece and nephews, Anna, Austin and Ethan; special little cousin, Amari Smith; aunts, Regina Kennieutubbe and Tom Palmer of Anadarko, Janie Bear of Krebs and Phyllis Williams of McAlester; uncle, John Kenieutubbe of Las Vegas, NV and other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bones and Martha Kenieutubbe; infant brother; paternal grandmother, Anna Kenieutubbe; grandfather, Osborne Kenieutubbe, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Gladys Hampton; aunts, Wanda Byington and Oleta Kenieutubbe.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel, McAlester, Oklahoma.

A Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at South Rock Creek Cemetery with Brother Stanley Shomo, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Zerbe, James Impson, Jr., Nashoba Million, Matthew James, Jimmy Battiest, Mike Ramsey, Brian Hernandez and Josh Frazier.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Austin Kenieutubbe, Jr., Ethan Kenieutubbe, Anna Kenieutubbe, Amari Smith, Bob Pate, Assistant Chief Jack Austin, Tuydale LeFlore, Tim Holden, Allen Barcus, Allen Hoover, , Miguel Hernandez, Nathaniel Meashintubby, Corey Collins, Jacob Ade, Phillip Wesley, Anthony Wesley, B.J. Nichols and Steven Mose. and Randy Sam. Sr.
