Fordia June Glanville, Pawnee, Oklahoma, was born June 30, 1924 and passed from this life on July 13, 2021 in Pawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 97.

Fordia was born in Macks Creek, Missouri to Alvie Evert and Olivia Green Hicks. On November 26, 1942 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Donald Price Glanville at Branch, Missouri, and they were married 49 years until he preceded her in death on June 13, 1992 Fordia was a life-long Christian and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wilburton, Oklahoma, and then after her move to Pawnee became a member of the Pawnee First United Methodist Church. Her life is a shining example of living out Jesus’s commandments in Matthew 22: 37-39. She loved the Lord and she loved her neighbors. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker, and she worked as a real-estate broker after her children were grown. She loved all manner of handicrafts and took pride in making beautiful things and creating a beautiful home. To her, by far, the most beautiful thing that she ever created was her family. She poured love into them every chance she had. Her family members, especially her grandchildren and their children were the stars in her sky. She was loving, adoring, and gracious to all who met her.

Fordia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Margo Glanville of Pawnee; a daughter Gloria Herren of El Reno, Oklahoma; her brothers Jack Hicks, Macks Creek, Missouri, and Len Hicks, Carthage, Missouri, her six grandchildren: Tim and Stephanie Herren of Carter, Oklahoma, Richard and Shauna Herren of Ft Worth, Texas, Cynthia and Todd Williams of Henderson, Nevada, Ingrid Hutchings of Redway, California, Erin and Ronny Brown of Pawnee, Oklahoma, and Matt Glanville of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has sixteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pawnee First United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Memorial Gardens in Wilburton, Oklahoma at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Pawnee First United Church Memorial Fund or the Organ Restoration Fund.
