Leola Bernice "Bonnie" Sparks passed away March 02, 2013, surrounded by her family in McAlester, Oklahoma. 

Bonnie was born on December 26, 1930,, in Damon, Oklahoma to Beard and Willie Mae Harvey. She was the 5th of 13 children. 
Bonnie married Jack N. Sparks on October 30, 1947, in Wilburton, Oklahoma. They were married for 43 years at the time of his death in 1990. She was employed by IHS for 30 years where she worked in the Neonatal Ward. 

She is survived by her children, Jack W. Sparks and wife Helen, of Zafra, OK, Linda Cook & husband Kenneth of Caney, Rita Carter & husband Paul Mattox of Talihina, Gary Sparks & wife Pam of Buffalo Valley,10 grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters Geneva Houston and Captola Harvey numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beard and Willie Mae Harvey, husband Jack N., three Brothers Johnny Harvey, Arnold Harvey & Junior Harvey, 3 sisters Maggie James, Juanita Sturgeon, & Inita Harvey. 

Pallbearers for the service will be Jack Sparks, Jr., Shane Sparks, Shad Sparks, Shawn Sparks, Greg Cook, Dalton Loggains, and Ryan Long. Honorary pallbearers , Ken Cook, Larry Marcy, Jody Kindred, Paul Mattox and Kelly McKaughan. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Damon Cemetery with Rodney Tate officiating

Interment will be under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
